Wild Betta Coccina - Pair

Name: Betta Coccina / Scarlet Betta

Temperament: Moderately aggressive and the male is territorial, can keep multiple pairs as long as your tank is big enough for groups.  Recommend 5 gallons tank size per pair.

Size: 4.5cm - 5.5cm

Diet: Live food, can be trained to eat frozen or dried foods.

Temperature: 22c - 28c       pH: 4 - 6.5      TDS: 60 - 130

Reproduction: Coccina is a submerged bubblenester so large leafed plants or black plastic film canisters are best for giving them a place to nest.

Caution!

• Will prey on smaller tank mate.
• Please note that like most wild betta, their coloration is based on their environment and health condition.
• Betta Coccina comes from blackwater environments and should have soft acidic water that is well filtered.
