Wild Betta Albimarginata - Pair

Name: Albimarginata / Strawberry Betta

Temperament: Moderately aggressive and the male is territorial, can keep multiples pairs as long as your tank is big enough for groups. Recommend 5 gallons tank size per pair.

Size: 4.5cm - 5.5cm

Diet: Live food, can be trained to eat frozen or dried foods.

Water Condition:

Temperature : 21c - 28c        pH: 4 - 6.5      TDS: 60 - 130

Reproduction : Albimaginata is a mouthbrooder and the male incubates from 10 to 15 days. Incubation time can vary with water temperature. Females normally initiate spawning. Normally between 3 to 20 fry are released.

Caution!

• Will prey on smaller tank mate.
• Please note that like most wild betta, their coloration is based on their environment and health condition.
• Albimarginata is very tolerant of water chemistry and thrives in almost any type of water as long as is clean and well filtered but soft and acidic water is best.
